Great War pair awarded to Acting Corporal A.H. Price, 5th Battalion, Canadian Mounted Rifles who saw service on the Western Front from 28th January 1916 and would suffer a shrapnel wound to the back on 22nd May 1916 before later suffering a gunshot wound to the chest on 29th April 1917. Surviving the war, he was discharged on 3rd February 1919.

Albert Henry Price was born in London, England and enlisted at Maple Creek on 21st December 1914 and served in France on 28th January 1916 and suffered a shrapnel wound to the back on 22nd May 1916, and having been discharged to duty on 24th May 1916 would later suffer a gun shot wound to the chest on 29th April 1917. He would later return to Canada on 10th January 1919 and was posted to the Casualty Company, and noted as entitled to wear 4 Blue Chevron and was discharged on 3rd February 1919.
