Leonard Felix Brough was born in Fenton, Staffordshire and giving his trade as a professional musician enlisted on 2nd June 1916 and subsequently saw service as a Sapper (No. 181548, later No. WR/257306) with the Royal Engineers, he would be discharged on 5th April 1919 and would then live in Manchester, he passed away in Fylde, Lancashire on 30th May 1948.
