George Henry Savage Cooper was a resident of Hampstead when he enlisted on 9th December 1915 giving his trade as Inspector Engineers Department (Post Office) and subsequently seeing service as a 2nd Corporal (No. 161528) with the Royal Engineers. He would later be awarded an Imperial Service Medal.
