Great War Officer’s Western Front 1914-1915 Star trio and Defence Medal awarded to Private T.V.D. Worth, Army Service Corps who would serve on the Western Front from 27th January 1915 and would subsequently be commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Manchester Regiment on 30th July 1917.

Thomas Victor Dobbie Worth was born in Castleton, Rochdale and attested at London on 7th May 1909. By the time of the Great War he would be serving as a Private (No. M2-035137) with the Army Service Corps, with whom he would travel to France and serve on the Western Front from 27th January 1915.
Worth would later be commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Manchester Regiment on 30th July 1917. He would survive the war and later died in Torbay, Devon in September 1975.
