Charles Montague Henman saw service during the Great War as a 2nd Lieutenant with the 13th Countuy of London Battalion - Kensington’s, London Regiment, Territorial Force, and was present out on the Western Front from 29th April 1918, being then attached as a Lieutenant to the King’s Own Scottish Borderers. He was living in Crouch End, London when he claimed his medals in August 1920.
