Great War Officer’s 1914-1915 trio awarded to Second Lieutenant, later Captain A.I. Henderson, 1/6th Battalion, Highland Light Infantry who saw service in Egypt from 2nd November 1915, he would later be appointed a Serving Brother of the Order of St. John in the London Gazette of 2nd January 1968.

Alexander Irving Henderson saw service as a Lieutenant with the 1/6th Battalion, Highland Light Infantry in Egypt from 2nd November 1915 and would later be promoted to Captain. His medals were sent to Auchinbrace, 35 Newark Drive, Pollockshield, Glasgow.
He would later be made a Serving Brother of the Order of the St. John in the London Gazette of 2nd January 1968.
