Great War Mesopotamia and Gallipoli 1914-1915 Star trio awarded to Major W.P. Brough, 7th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment who was originally commissioned on 14th October 1914, aged 50, and who post war would see service with the Military Works Service India whilst attached to the Royal Engineers before being discharged on 8th November 1921.

William Parker Brough was born in 1864 at Birkenhead, Cheshire and would see Great War service as a Major with the 7th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment having been commissioned on 14th October 1914. He would serve in both Mesopotamia and Gallipoli, and would later serve with the Military Works Service India, attached Royal Engineers between 10th September and 8th November 1921 when he was discharged. His address would be given as Formosa, Great Malvern, Worcestershire on his discharge.
By 1933 he would be living in Kensington where he died on 5th June 1934, he was subsequently buried in Brompton Cemetery.
