George McKenzie Brough was born and enlisted in Dundee and initially saw service as a Private (No. 3/13739) with the Seaforth Highlanders and later with the Labour Corps (No. 114719).
Finally, Brough served as a Private (No. 56089) with the 25th Battalion (Tyneside Irish), Northumberland Fusiliers and died of wounds on 19th April 1918 and is now buried in Wimereux Communal Cemetery, he is noted as the son of George Brough and the husband of Helen Brough of 7 Bruce Street, Dundee.
