An unusual Great War India casualty British War Medal and Memorial Plaque pair to Private J.R. Bush, 24th Battalion, Rifle Brigade who saw service in India and died on 4th July 1918 and having no known grave is now remembered on the Karachi War Memorial. This confirmed as his complete entitlement.

James Robert Bush enlisted and lived in Great Yarmouth, and initially saw service as a Private (No. 23571) with the 2nd/5th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment, before he re-enlisted at the outset of the Great War and then saw service as a Private (No. 285, later No. 206420) with the 24th Battalion, Rifle Brigade in India. He died on 4th July 1918 and having no known grave is now remembered on the Karachi War Memorial. This confirmed as his complete entitlement.
