Great War Gold Tribute Medal issued by the villages of Acklington, Guyzance, and Morwick in Northumberland, .375 9 carat gold marked on both the disc and the suspension ring, hallmarks for Birmingham with date letter ’t’ for 1918, reverse engraved: ‘Presented to Private J. Thomson for Valour in the Great War 1914-18 by the Residents of Acklington, Guyzance, & Morwick’. Housed in its fitted presentation case bearing the label of Lister and Son, Jewellers of Northumberland St., Newcastle on Tyne.
