Great War Gallipoli 1914-1915 Star trio awarded to Private H. McDougall, 2nd Battalion, Scottish Horse who saw service at Gallipoli from 1st September 1915 and would survive the war to be discharged on 2nd March 1919. he also later served with the 286th Prisoner of War Company, Labour Corps.

Hugh McDougall was born in Edinburgh and saw service as a Private (No. 6104, later No. 4950) with the 2nd Battalion, Scottish Horse, and later as a Private (No. 658129) with the 286th Prisoner of War Company, Labour Corps. He served at Gallipoli from 1st September 1915 and would be discharged on 2nd March 1919
