Griffen, 2/4th Battalion, The Queen’s Regiment, later Royal Air Force who saw service at Gallipoli from 30th July 1915. He would later transfer to the Royal Air Force with whom he would see service in Iraq prior to 1931.

F. Griffen saw service as a Private (No. 3291) with the Queen’s Regiment who saw service with 2nd/4th Battalion at Gallipoli from 30th July 1915, and would later transfer to the Royal Flying Corps as a Corporal (No. 302410) this becoming the Royal Air Force on 1st April 1918. He would later be a member of the Royal Air Force personnel stationed in Iraq or serving with the Iraq Levies prior to 1931. Finally, he would see home service during the Second World War.
