Private C. W. Brewer was the son of Thomas Henry Brewer of 13 Franklin Road, Penge, London, and husnband of Mabel Rebecca Brewer of 61, Malvern Road, East Ham, London. He was 30 and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.
