Leonard Francis Gee was born in and resided in Sydenham, Kent and enlisted at Penge before seeing service as a Private (No. G-15602) with the 7th Battalion, East Kent Regiment – The Buffs on the Western Front. He was killed in action on 30th September 1916. Having no known grave he is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial.
