Great War Battle of Arras 1914-1915 Star trio and Memorial Plaque awarded to Private E.W. Waldman, ‘B’ Battery, 63rd Brigade, Royal Field Artillery who saw service on the Western Front from 31st May 1915 and who later died of wounds on 11th April 1917 whilst involved in the fighting around Arras. He is now buried in Duisans British Cemetery.

Edward William Waldman was a resident of Bow, London and enlisted at St. Paul’s and would see service on the Western Front from 31st May 1915 as a Gunner (No. 46699) with the Royal Field Artillery and subsequently died of wounds on 11th April 1917 whilst serving with B Battery, 63rd Brigade, Royal Field Artillery and is now buried in Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun being noted as the son of George and Elizabeth Waldman of London.
