Great War 1st Salford Pals Western Front German Spring Offensive single Military Medal awarded to Corporal sometime Acting Sergeant C. Eden, 15th Service Battalion - 1st Salford Pals, Lancashire Fusiliers, formerly Liverpool Regiment, who was awarded the Military Medal for bravery in the field in the London Gazette for 16th July 1918 which indicates an award won during the German Spring Offensive in the period from 21st March to 11th April 1918.

Condition: Good Very Fine.

Charles Eden came from Liverpool, and saw service during the Great War initially as a Private (No.15399) with the Liverpool Regiment, and present out on the Western Front from 7th November 1915. Having then transferred as a Corporal (No.39688) to the 15th Service Battalion - 1st Salford Pals, Lancashire Fusiliers, he saw further service with this battalion out on the Western Front where it formed part of the 96th Brigade in the 32nd Division.

Eden was awarded the Military Medal for bravery in the field in the London Gazette for 16th July 1918 which indicates an award won during the German Spring Offensive in the period from 21st March to 11th April 1918. Eden ended the war as an Acting Sergeant.
