Terry, Indian Miscellaneous List who saw service on the Western Front from 30th September 1914 later being awarded the Meritorious Service Medal in the Edinburgh Gazette of 5th June 1919 for his service in India whilst with the Army Headquarters Quarter Master Generals Branch, Indian Miscellaneous List.

Thomas Terry was born on 4th September 1878 and saw service as a Staff Sergeant with the Indian Expeditionary Force on the Western Front from 30th September 1914, being promoted to Sub-Conductor on 1st January 1916 whilst serving with the Army Headquarters Quarter Master Generals Branch, Indian Miscellaneous List.
Terry would be awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for his services in India in the Edinburgh Gazette of 5th June 1919. When his medals were sent to him in 1927 having been issued by the Government of India, he had risen to the rank of Conductor.
