Great War 1914 Star and bar trio awarded to Private later Acting Corporal S.H. Waudby, 2nd Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment saw service on the Western Front from 5th November 1914 and would survive the war. He later died in Louth, Lincolnshire on 14th October 1923.

Samuel Henry Waudbywas born in Grantham saw service with the 2nd Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment as a Private and later Acting Corporal (No. 5723) on the Western Front from 5th November 1914 and would survive the war. He later died on 14th October 1923 at Louth, Lincolnshire having been employed as a Baker in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
