Great War 1914 Star and bar trio and Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal group awarded to Private, later Trooper A. Eade, 9th Lancers, who saw service on the Western Front from 9th September 1914 until 13th April 1917 and then again from 31st March 1918 remaining there until 5th April 1919. He would be awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal in Army Order 136 of 1926.

Arthur B. Eade saw service as a Private (No. 1251) A. Eade, 9th Lancers on the Western Front from 9th September 1914 and would serve there until 13th April 1917. He would return to the Western Front on 31st March 1918 remaining there until 5th April 1919.
He would attest to the Tank Corps on 18th February 1919, and would later be awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal in Army Order 136 of 1926.
By the time of the 1939 Register he was living at 16 Portland Street, Fareham, Hampshire
