Montague H. Cassam saw service as a Lance Corporal and later Private (No. GS-10427) with the 17th Lancers on the Western Front from 23rd May 1915. He would also later service with the Machine Gun Corps (No. 50808) and the Corps of Lancers (No. L/16614).
