Great War 1914-1915 Star and Special Constabulary Long Service Medal pair with related War Medal 1939-1945. The first two related to Private J.C. Cockshott, Army Service Corps, who was present out on the Western Front from 14th April 1915, and later saw service as a Special Constable with the Police Special Constabulary. His probable son, Mr. J.S. Cockshott, of Bradford, Yorkshire, saw service briefly during the Second World War with the British Army.

War Medal 1939-1945; together with Army Council sole-entitlement forwarding slip, with recipient’s service number inscribed in ink ‘33329’, and the War Office single campaign medal forwarding box of issue, addressed to: ‘Mr. J.S. Cockshott, 8 Queen’s Rd, Bradford, Yorks.’
John C. Cockshott saw service during the Great War as a Driver (No.T4-122819) with the Army Service Corps, and was present out on the Western Front from 14th April 1915. He was transferred to the Class Z Reserve on 2nd April 1919. He later saw service as a Special Constable with the Police Special Constabulary.
His probable son, Mr. J.S. Cockshott, of Bradford, Yorkshire, saw service briefly during the Second World War with the British Army.
