The Third Reich Police Cap Eagle, known as the Polizeiadler (police eagle), was the standard national emblem for all uniformed German police formations (Ordnungspolizei) from 1936 to 1945. It features an open-winged eagle clutching a swastika, surrounded by an open-ended wreath of oak leaves.
