Germany - ThIrd Reich: NSKOV Gau Moselland district Armband of black wool base, with two 5 mm wide strips of fine aluminium bullion, white embroidered “NSKOV” lettering in the centre and “Gau Moselland” below complete with within central NSKOV zinc badge.
Condition: Reverse join sticking partly undone with several small moth holes, Fair condition.
The NSKOV, “National Sozialistische Kriegsopferversorung” (National Socialist War-disabled-support [Organization]), was formed in 1930 and institutionalized in 1933, as an associated society assisting NSDAP party members who had become disabled as a result of war injuries.
