Germany - Third Reich: German Occupied Territories Munition Factory Worker’s Lapel Badge, zinc manufacture, marked ‘ZW Z’ to the front, red painted finish to obverse - triangular form. This is one of those dug out from the ground in the former KL Gross-Rosen sub camp in Zittau, called Zittwerke Zitau, that was a factory of Junkers aircraft and motor vehicles, and which used slave labour from KL Gross-Rosen.
Condition: evidence of corrosion and some significant paint loss to the obverse, Very Fine.
