Private (No. 3314100) M. McMillan, Highland Light Infantry saw service during the Arab Revolt in Palestine, he would be three times court-martialled, the first time in Glasgow on 21st September 1938 where he was found guilty of detention with stoppage of pay, the second time at Fort George on 25th April 1939 where he was again found guilty of desertion being sentenced to 112 days detention.
He would then be court-martialled on 7th December 1945 and sentenced to 1 year imprisonment with the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.
