When the order is established, holders of the Medal of Honour for Physical Education and Sports were reclassified as follows: holders of the bronze level become holders of the Medal of Honour for Youth and Sports ; holders of the silver echelon become Knights of the Order of Sporting Merit; and holders of the gold echelon become Officers of the Order of Sporting Merit
