Chamberlain, 3rd Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps who saw service on the Western Front from 20th December 1914 and died of wounds on 5th February 1915. He is now buried in Bailleul Communal Cemetery.

Jos Christopher Chamberlain was born in Burghfield, Reading and enlisted in Reading before seeing service as a Private (No. 8347) with the 3rd Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps on the Western Front from 20th December 1914 and died of wounds on 5th February 1915, he is now buried in Bailleul Communal Cemetery. He is noted as the son of Charles and Kezia E. Chamberlain of 16 Sulhamstead Road, Burghfield, Berkshire.
