Harold Sidney Matthews was born on 5th April 1905 and attested into the British South Africa Police on 21st February 1929 before retiring on 1st December 1949. He is believed to be entitled to the 1939-1945 War Medal.
His Colonial Police Long Service Medal was gazetted on 4th April 1947.
