Casualty Queen’s South Africa Medal 1899-1902, 3 Clasps: Cape Colony, Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith awarded to Private C. Geigling, 2nd Battalion, Royal Fusiliers who saw service in South Africa during the Boer War and who would take part in the operations in Cape Colony and the relief of Ladysmith before taking part in the fighting on the Tugela Heights. He died of wounds on 24th February 1900.

Geigling, 2nd Battalion, Royal Fusiliers saw service in South Africa during the Boer War and would take part in the operations in Cape Colony as well as during the operations to relieve Ladysmith and in the action at Tugela Heights which took place between 14th and 27th February 1900 and is noted as having died of wounds at Ladysmith on 24th February 1900.
