Casualty Indian Mutiny Medal 1857-1859, 1 Clasp: Delhi awarded to Private H.G. Mackney, 1st Battalion, 60th Rifles – King’s Royal Rifle Corps who saw service in India during the Indian Mutiny where he would be present during the siege of Delhi which lasted from 30th May to 14th September 1857. He would return to the UK and subsequently died on 30th October 1857, presumably as a result of campaigning, being buried in St. Margaret of Antioch Churchyard, Darenth, Dartford, Kent.

Henry George Mackney saw service as a Private (No. 3370) with the 1st Battalion, 60th Rifles – King’s Royal Rifle Corps in India during the Indian Mutiny where he would be present during the siege of Delhi which lasted from 30th May to 14th September 1857. However, he would return to the UK and died, presumably as a result of campaigning in India on 30th October 1857. He is now buried in St. Margaret of Antioch Churchyard at Darenth, Dartford, Kent.
