Frederick Arthur King was born and resided in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire and enlisted at Loughborough, before he saw service as a Private (No. 3584) with the Machine Gun Corps and as a Private (No. 3/21024) with the Leicestershire Regiment before he was killed in action on 31st December 1916 whilst serving with 50th Company, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry) and is now buried in Guards Cemetery, Lesbouefs. He is noted as the son of Mrs. Louisa King, of Mountsorrel, Lesboeufs.
