Thomas W. Cripps saw service as a Private (No. 5346) with the Rifle Brigade on the Western Front from 25th March 1915 and later as a Private (No. 56217) with the King’s Royal Rifle Corps. He was noted as wounded on the War Office Casualty List for 17th April 1915 whilst serving with the 4th Battalion, Rifle Brigade.
