William A. Bristow saw service as a Sapper (No. 143269) with the 72nd Field Company, Royal Engineers. He died on 9th September 1918 and is buried in the Baghdad (North Gate) Wazr Cemetery, Iraq. Aged 29, he was the son of William and Emma Bristow of West Thytherley, Salisbury. Additionally entitled to a Victory Medal.
