William Scott served under an alias, his real name being William Bloxham. He would see service on the Western Front with 41st Battery, Royal Field Artillery on the Western Front from 16th August 1914, he died of Pnuemonia and injuries on 4th November 1914 and is now buried in Boulogne Eastern Cemetery.
