R. Edens saw service as a Sergeant (No. 55193) with the 19th Battalion (Central Ontario), Canadian Infantry and died of pneumonia on 7th July 1918, now being buried in Watford Cemetery, he is noted as the son of James Edens of 130 Sandringham Road, Watford.
