Myers, 2nd Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, who saw service on operations in Afghanistan with the Joint Task Force at Kandahar between 13 February and 2nd September 2008.

Christopher Pierre Myers joined the Canadian Army Forces on 21 February 2006, and saw service as a Private (No.V87726312) with the 2nd Princes Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. He qualified as an infantryman on joining, and later qualified as a vehicle technician. Myers saw service on operations in Afghanistan with the Joint Task Force at Kandahar between 13 February and 2nd September 2008. He was promoted to Corporal on 4 March 2009, and was still in service as of July 2011 when stationed at CFB Gagetown in Burton, New Brunswick.
Some 5,552 awards of the General Campaign Star with South East Asia ribbon and the ISAF+FIAS Bar were given between April 2003 and February 2007, the ISAF+FIAS Bar being awarded for 30 days service in Afghanistan as part of the International Security Assistance Force.
