Frank Leslie Rolt came from Hove, Sussex and was commissioned into the Territorial Force from Corporal in the 14th County of London Battalion - the London Scottish, London Regiment, to be a 2nd Lieutenant in the 4th Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment on 2nd April 1915, and then went on to see service during the Great War as a Captain on the Staff and ultimately with the Army Physical Training Staff. Additionally entitled to the Victory Medal.
