Frank Talbot, surname also shown as Talbott, saw service during the Great War as a Private (No.M2-046130) with the Army Service Corps, and serving an a Mechanical Transport Company out on the Western Front from 3rd February 1915. He was awarded a rare confirmed French Medal of Honour of Foreign Affairs for Acts of Courage in Bronze with Crossed Swords in the London Gazette for 26th January 1919. Talbot transferred to the Army Reserve on 15th June 1919.
