Group of 8: 1914-1915 Star; (26912. CPL. H.S. FLETT, R.G.A.); British War Medal and Victory Medal; (26912 SJT. H.S. FLETT. R.A.); 1939-1945 Star; Defence Medal; War Medal; Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, GVR Fm. Bust; (1403284 SJT. H.S. FLETT. R.G.A.); Efficiency Decoration, GVI 2nd type cypher, reverse dated 1950, complete with Second Award Bar dated 1950, and Territorial top bar.

Condition: Good Very Fine.

Harry S. Flett served during the Great War as a Corporal later Sergeant (No.26912) with the Royal Garrison Artillery, and saw service on the Western Front from 17th July 1915. Flett was subsequently awarded the Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal as a Sergeant.

Having gained a commission into the Territorial Army, Flett was mobilised during the Second World War with the Royal Artillery, and presumably saw service in France in 1940. Flett was subsequently promoted from Captain and Quartermaster to Major and Quartermaster on 8th October 1947, and was awarded the Efficiency Decoration together with the Second Award Clasp in the London Gazette for 21st April 1950. Flett retired on 31st May 1950 having exceeded the age limit.
