Great War Territorial Force War Medal, and double long service Territorial Efficiency Medal and Efficiency Medal group awarded to Private E.C. Peters, 4th City of Bristol Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment, Territorial Force later Territorial Army, who also saw service during the Great War with both the Labour Corps and the Royal Fusiliers. He was awarded the Territorial Efficiency Medal in 1923, and went on to be awarded the Efficiency Medal during the 1930’s.

Ernest C. Peters was a pre-war member of the Territorial Force who then saw service as a Private (No.1284 later No.200069 and No.5174706) with the 4th City of Bristol Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment, and would have seen service out on the Western Front. Peters transferred during the war as a Private (No.407324) to the Labour Corps and also saw service as a Private (No.GS-126041) with the Royal Fusiliers. Peters was subsequently serving post war back with the 4th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment, and was awarded the Territorial Efficiency Medal in Army Orders No.423 of 1923. He was later awarded the Efficiency Medal during the 1930’s when still a member of the 4th Battalion.
