William H. Robinson originally joined the London Metropolitan Police as a Police Constable (Warrant No.80042) with P Division at Camberwell on 19th November 1894, and saw service through the Jubilee in 1897, the Coronation in 1901 and the Coronation in 1911, before being pensioned from P Division on 5th January 1918. There is one other man with the this name, both shown on the roll with the single initial ‘W’ and serving with the same division, however he is also shown as having seen service during the Boer War with the army.
