Group of 5: France and Germany Star; Defence Medal; War Medal; United Nations Medal for Korea, British issue; Campaign Service Medal 1962, 1 Clasp: Borneo; (14433826 S.SGT. T. MOLLOY. 2. E. ANGLIAN.), mounted swing style as worn.

Condition: Good Very Fine.

Together with the recipient’s pair of Northamptonshire Regiment collar badges, tunic ribbon bar for the first four, and Royal Army Education Corps cap badge.

Awarded to Staff Sergeant (No.14433826) T. Molloy, 2nd Battalion, East Anglian Regiment, who is believed to have seen service during the Second World War with the Northamptonshire Regiment in Germany towards the very end of he war, and then having left the army and then re-enlisted into the Northamptonshire Regiment, seeing service in Japan in support of the Korean War at some stage between December 1950 and 1954.

Then on the amalgamation of the 1st Battalion, Royal Lincolnshire Regiment, and the 1st Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment on 1st June 1960, he then served with the retitled 2nd Battalion, East Anglian Regiment, a short lived unit.

Whilst with the 2nd Battalion, East Anglian Regiment, Molloy saw service as a Staff Sergeant during the operations in Aden which occurred from 1st August 1964, his battalion being amongst the first units to arrive, his medal is named to him with this unit, as soon after on 1st September 1964, it was retitled the Royal Anglian Regiment. Molloy is believed to have later transferred into the Royal Army Education Corps.
