Condition: Good Very Fine.

John Forecast saw service as a Private (No.5341) with the 12th Royal Lancers during the Boer War and on operations in the Cape Colony during 1902. Forecast then went on to see service during the Great War with his regiment, being present out on the Western Front with the British Expeditionary Force from 22nd August 1914, and subsequently transferred as a Private (No.L-12965) to the Corps of Lancers. Forecast was discharged surplus to military requirements on 2nd August 1919.
