A Great War 1914 trio awarded to Lieutenant C. Roper, Royal Air Force, late Royal Flying Corps and Army Service Corps, who served as a Private with the 1st Cavalry Ammunition Park on the Western Front from 12th August 1914 before being commissioned in to the Royal Flying Corps.

Group of 3: 1914 Star; (CMT-3326 PTE C. ROPER. A.S.C.); British War Medal and Victory Medal; (2.LIEUT. C. ROPER. R.A.F.), the medals housed in a wallet with an affixed Royal Flying Corps bronze lapel badge.
Condition: Good Very Fine.

Charles Roper served during the Great War initially as a Private (No.CMT-3326) with the Army Service Corps, seeing service with the British Expeditionary Force on the Western Front from 12th August 1914, before being commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant into the Royal Flying Corps, and then serving as a Lieutenant with the Royal Air Force. He latterly claimed his medals in October 1921 whilst residing in Boston, Lincolnshire.
