Belgium: Medal of Merit for Explosive Ordnance Disposal 1944-1945

This medal was established in 1962 by the Belgian Royal Association of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians and was awarded to the members of the EOD Service of the Belgian Army who were actively involved in the bomb and mine clearing of Belgium following the end of the Second World War.
A scarce medal as the strength of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal service never exceeded 300 men.
