Belgium: Fire Cross 1914-1918, 1st type.
Condition: Good Very Fine.
The cross was instituted on 6 February 1934 and was awarded to soldiers then living who held the ‘Fire Card’ (Croix du Feu / Vuurkaart), having come under fire at the front. Three main variants of the medal exist; this example is of the first type.
