Claude Bowyer Overall was born in Enfield Lock, Middlesex and a resident of Enfield before enlisting there before seeing service as a Private (No. 6985, later No. TF202623) with the 1st/7th Battalion, Duke of Cambridge’s Own (Middlesex Regiment) and saw service on the Western Front from 12th March 1915 before being killed in action on 3rd May 1917 and having no known grave is now remembered on the Arras Memorial.
