Edward Robert Barber was born in south Melbourne, Victoria on 20th May 1900 and later enlisted at Ringwood, Victoria on 20th February 1942 giving his trade as Milk Carter who would see service in Australia as a Private and Motor Transport Driver throughout his service until on 12th November 1945 he was discharged.
