Patrick John Foreman was born in Hobart, Tasmania and enlisted at Harden, New South Wales on 6th March 1942. He would be assigned as a Private, later Lance Corporal (No. NX91366) to the 3rd Pioneer Company on 11th April 1942 and would see service in New Guinea from 21st September 1942 until 10th June 1943 and was discharged at his own request on compassionate grounds on 23rd December 1943. He was issued a War Badge later reporting it stolen at Walsh Bay on 4th January 1946.
