A rare Great War, Army of the Black Sea, Meritorious Service Medal with associated shooting awards to Sapper – Acting Staff Serjeant E.B. Parker, Royal Engineers who having seen service during the Great War would be awarded the Meritorious Service Medal in the London Gazette of 12th December 1919 for his service with the Army of the Black Sea.

Ernest B. Parker saw service as a Sapper and later Acting Staff Serjeant (No. 195210) with the Royal Engineers and would be awarded a Meritorious Service Medal in the London Gazette of 12th December 1919 for his service with the Army of the Black Sea. The Gazette notes Parker as having enlisted in Woodford.
